For a long time I was looking for a good tuner pedal format to incorporate into my set. About a year ago I came across this one while I hesitated with the Artec Big Dots (true bypass, cheaper) and the Boss TU-2 (the reference). I chose the Korg because it seemed a good compromise, both highly (but not too much) accurate, with an LED that lets you know where we are (more so than the Big Dots), and a certain transparency Bypass (better than the Boss so), all with a great look! The "flat" is a tad redundant, but not the dual output (OUT or Bypass), which lets you choose if you want to tune silently or not, or the calibration of the LA reference in the range of 10 Hz EMMC or something that. Indeed, it is much better than a compromise: "built like a tank", not true bypass, but bypass very transparent, visible diode super at all times, a little over a swirling acoustic bass of poor quality, but there I quibble with death, it is set like shit this low.

If you need a tuner quality of life, you do not have a Ernie Ball volume pedal with tuner out and you still want to tune silently on stage, this jewel is a dream. And brushed aluminum, it's not pretend, it vomits almost on a TU-2 after that ... NEW REFERENCE, no less!

Edit a few months of use: still no complaints! One small detail to remember for those who have close pedalboard, this pedal is relatively large compared to the Boss, think about it. And when I write stuff on the TU-2, do not take them at face value, it's good stuff too ... That said I would not trade my Korg, nay!

Edit 21/06/2011: I have always. Bypass very transparent. But competition is fierce. That said, I think once you have a tuner it does not change every five years ...
