Received today, and my my first impressions are excellent!

Switches two instruments, (2 basses in my case), also agree with the most accurate one strobe for ultimate precision. Compared to my old tuner pocket, I am fulfilled, the accuracy is well above and adjust the bridge myself a bass makes me more afraid with this baby. Recognition and display of notes is quite fast, much better than my pocket tuner that I found, however, excellent before acquiring the DTR-2000.

Sign of quality, the audio switching relays are made by means of the mechanical clicks when you mute or when changing channel (not the signal, it is the relay that make noise). There are no color or added to the breath sound of the instrument, the sound quality is completely transparent.

The connection is complete, two inputs on the front and back, an output, another output for the reference, a decision to switch the "mute" with a pedal, another to switch the Input 1 to 2 foot also, and 220V, the power supply is integrated. The buttons and switches are specific to the touch and look of excellent quality.

The function of illumination of the racks below the DTR works well, it is ensured by a high brightness white LED and a reflector, which found its buttons on other devices in the absence of light.

The look is a bit extreme, all functions are backlit in red, the position of understanding is just blue, and even the Korg logo glows blue ;-) It's been a little kitsch, between K2000 and car tuning, but is effective and easy to use in the dark.

Always practical, Korg also includes a pack of screws for rack in addition to the doc and the cable industry.

Excellent finish all round, despite the inevitable now "Made in China". I am very happy with my purchase, the serial DTR not really competitors (Sabine and Terratec, but blah), and I think the value for money is the correct move, even if it's going to be to find a tuner more expensive.

Finally, if you have too 1U in your flight and that 1.5 kgs do not interfere, the DTR2000 will complement very useful and practical for my part I will not regret your purchase.

For tight budgets, the DTR-1000 provides the basic functions, but without the frills (lighting, switching two inputs, external calibration) and without the strobe is excellent!
