Published on 02/04/11 at 14:09Wah blameless Whouuuuuaaaaaa very, very telling. I compared with 2 in guitarshop others in the same price (forgotten brands, vox I think) in 120 euros, I much preferred the old Boss FW3 600FF purchased in 98.
UTILIZATION
Config very simple, one branch, on / off button on foot pressure to pedal forward, knob adjusting contrast wah.
SOUND QUALITY
Effects are they effective, responsive and realistic enough?
Yes, I said 'high. Sometimes used with distortion Boss OS2 (not terrible) TubeScreamer or (better). Irrelevant if coupled with delay / reverb.
OVERALL OPINION
What thing do you like most/least about it?
Plus, I said to her, and she is strong. Minimum, and that galley, she is weak in mechanical joint. If we play at a loud volume, the decibel cover her little unwanted noise, but if you play at lower volume, it should first stop the points that make clack-clack, and also quite fast (few years) it 's is set to squeak, squeak at the pivot axis. For the clack-clack I glued some felt but if you put too much, it interferes with the on / off, so you have the right amount of thickness. For the pivot point of hinge that squeaks, I oiled it resolved for a while but it did not last. Should grease but it is not removable (it takes a special key it seems to me) and not easily accessible. I just tried with the spray lubricant / cleaner Contac electronics. It seems to work. Continued ...
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Yes despite p'tits annoying noises but remediable as a really nice WAH eloquent, I think I could for a secondhand 50 euros if she let go. Good
