Officially boycotting gibson after they're announcing price increase to their already ridiculously expensive manufactured guitars. Who's with me!?!

Well, I couldn't afford a gibson at 3000 bucks before, so a 29% price change doesn't really change anything for me....
But what I don't get is, why would anyone spend that kind of cash on a factory-made standard gibson when they can get a nice custom shop Mayones with the same budget? mmmmmm
Even so, I remember when my dad got a 1976 LP custom for about 2K around 01 years ago, and I'm confident that guitar will appreciate more in the next 10 years than a factory built, standardized 2014 LP would
