Shure BRH Headsets

Shure unveiled its line of broadcast headsets: the BRH31M, BRH440M and BRH441M for broadcast and media production applications.


The BRH31M Single-Sided Lightweight Broadcast Headset—for interchangeable wear on the left or right side—is a closed-back, supra-aural headset.

 

Key features include:

  • Adjustable headband with a cushioned temple pad
  • User-replaceable ear pad and windscreen support
  • Single-side, fixed cable with unterminated end (bare whip) designed to enable connection to a variety of devices, reinforced with Kevlar 


The BRH440M Dual-Sided Broadcast Headset is a closed-back, circumaural headset. Highlighted features include:

  • Ergonomic, adjustable headband with padding
  • Single-side, detachable cable with unterminated end (bare whip) designed to enable connection to variety of devices, reinforced with Kevlar
  • Flip-up mute function deactivates the boom microphone when raised vertically away from the mouth 
  • User-replaceable cable, ear pads, and windscreen support


The BRH441M Single-Sided Broadcast Headset—for wear on the left or right side— also offers sound isolation from background noise, while keeping one ear open to the surrounding environment. Additional features include:

  • Ergonomic, adjustable headband with padding and cushioned temple pad
  • Flip-up mute function deactivates the boom microphone when raised vertically away from the mouth 
  • Single-side, detachable cable with unterminated ends (bare whip) designed to enable connection to a variety of devices, reinforced with Kevlar
  • User-replaceable cable, ear pads, windscreen, and temple pad


All headsets in the line feature a dynamic, cardioid microphone. Additionally, a flexible boom microphone pivots 270 degrees for left or right side.

All three models carry a two-year limited warranty and will be available for purchase from select retailers in mid-2012: BRH31M $199, BRH441M $249, and BRH440M $299 (all pricing MSRP).
