«  The true sound of old school PAF! »

I have the complete set "Neck and Bridge" mounted on a Hamer Sunburst bought second hand and already equipped by the previous owner by the microphones. It was very inspired by the way! Hamer of violin making is very oriented Gibson Les Paul and the height thereof, body and neck schools mahogany maple top, the result is simply excellent. I find the spirit, the grain, the harmonic richness and dynamic behavior of the old Les Paul in the spirit of that of Peter Green, who was later owned by Gary Moore. The microphone is not "Wax Potted" he develops a rich and spicy. Its gain is reasonable but can optenir beautiful kind of ACDC crunch and leads in the spirit "Still Got The Blues", "Parisienne Walkways" if we get to redo his period Blues by Gary Moore but also to Van Halen in an old Marshall pushed to its limits. Its grain and power also allow access to the beautiful sounds clear and open living well, that does not allow all humbuckers. It responds quite well to volume knob. Against by not being "wax potted" I would advise extreme music for Trash Metal genre but for hard-rock old shcool like Gary Moore, Van Halen, ACDC ... ect I find ideal. my favorite is their ability to enhance the wooded side of the mediums luthrie without erase the treble or bass.
If I repeat the purchase price they are admittedly a bit expensive but really bring the sound which can be expected so far I do not see what could make me withdraw my Hamer!
