12AX7 preamp in, onboard multi-effects ... It's solid manufacturing Marshallian it's tough. Heavy is still a bit!
UTILIZATION
Simple and effective is a marshall: you turn it sounds.
SOUNDS
The downside is the small.
I have a Marshall VS100 in mind. The guys in my group have one or AVT100 of my post and also I think a VS 50w he says. I also tried a 80w vs. Assé regularly so I connai the amp.
Overall I noticed immediately that the sounds I like the AVT significantly less than VS. The old version has a warmth, a thickness that the AVT does not.
THE CRUNCH.
I find it just always bad. We feel that the sound is the same as the distortion and c is simply the gain down. ca overflows there is not "square" I look for in a crunch.
THE DISTO.
I think that like it or not. but frankly it is less warm and round as the VS. ca crachouillent more it overflows a little. It sounds so to speak as the 2000s and current groups. Assé is powerful and trashy like a marshall but the accuracy is relative to the distortion.
In addition we regret bitterly the abscence of the magic button "contour" which was present in the AVT and dramatically alter the sound.
we went from a big rock sound. The presence knob that replaces ets too innefficace I find the sound to change practice. Fortunately that there are the "scoop" (if I m not abuse) that cuts the medium but these still are not as insufficsant adjustable ...
THE multi effects.
The effects do their job. ca troubleshoots serious! the sound is good without being harsh environment but are very pratik accessiblent because at any moment.
Only the flanger is bad, but the reverb! Mamamia big fan of the reverb as I broke a profondeuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuur s!
OVERALL OPINION
My overall opinion is that it is the marshall, it sounds, there is something to laugh for hours!
But around the time the sound of fondementales Lampl: the distortion is lost as heat in thickness and that's a shame becaufe remi nine: one equipped with a multi-effect VS: It will do serious!
So if you are already equipped with a multi purpose: take a VS. if you have the means to take a 2 VS.
