I use these headphones with an MP3 player while playing sports.
Its quality, it is equivalent to a good HiFi headphones without a headphone as galer shenneiser HD600 (headphones from my hi-fi).
The sound emitted by the Retailer EC3 is not garish like some mini headphones.

Even running the headphones are a good ear. The "ear" rubber are very enjoyable and not afraid to sweat unlike foam ear.
Headphones certainly expensive but you emmne in other worlds of sound.
