Ben is the main motivation on the relationship quality / price, simply excellent.
I use a small mixer (TAPCO 6306).
UTILIZATION
The installation does not empty but I have not removed my old sound card (SB Audigy) to keep the firewire port as is recommended by the manufacturer.
So, a priori no worries. However, I find it unfortunate that we should first install the drivers on the CD to apply the update. I think a standalone version would be more practical and would be less of PBS. They also share the application of the driver. In all three files were installed and two reboots, is easier!
GETTING STARTED
Good drivers are not super stable. I can not go below 10 ms. And even when a appears stable, there are occasional small cracks.
The PatchMix is very practical and plutt well done when we understand the trick.
I do not use the DSP (shame on me!) So I can not tell if it's good. That said, I found the window of the known effects SETTING THE trs not ergonomic.
OVERALL OPINION
So it is but I have a more stable driver, their installation a mess reminds me of the old Audigy facilities so it does not reassure me.
The Routing options are powerful trs.
I can not judge her too in so far as I touch my hardware at the same time.
Therefore résumé: yes but strongly stable of drivers and standalone.
