Audiophile 2496 - speakers cut in and out

I've been using the audiophile 2496 for several years, and all of a sudden my speakers cut in and out. It's definitely the sound card. When I plug my keyboard directly into it, one speaker will cut out, then it will come back, then out again. Sometimes I hear static as well. I even hooked up different speakers with different speaker wire to be sure it's the sound card.

If anyone can help me solve this problem, I would be extremely thankful.
