I'll let you see the features on appropriate sites. They are many interesting
UTILIZATION
The general configuration is not simple, it is the flip side of an appliance with extended capabilities and as versatile as the PA1X. The two books in French are very comprehensive and clear. They are adequate, but the forums and other websites will be a great help.
Editing sounds is no more difficult than on a classic synth that would be interested. But it gets complicated for accompaniments.
OVERALL OPINION
I used this synth for almost 10 years in professional animation. Piano bar, prom, weddings rock band ...
Previously I had a "home" set beatbox various keyboards (including a Yamaha CP70) and bass pedals. Then I went to Roland G800. The PA1X was a sound revolution for me. Although the G800 does not déméritait for the time and the CP70 was a "huge" jewel of 80 kg, the PA1X brought a new generation sound, and incredible versatility in the one and same keyboard!
The most significant: the diversity and quality of sound and its accompanying its extreme versatility thanks to its various tools (songbook sequencer media player ...), its compactness and its opening (influx of new sounds and support in addition to those factory)
What it lacks today: the evolution of new piano sounds for example. A general rather metallic sound, so a lack of natural (the machine side).
And especially the lack of PC edition. Everything must be done on the touch screen PA1X which is not a model of sensitivity. The edition of the songbook that still seems antediluvian (not for example to determine the tempo of the software!), The ergonomics is average, small and fragile buttons.
It also lacks a sequencer simple agreement at the end to play a harmonic sequence and reproduce it in the style of speed and desired tone.
PA1X the rest in my opinion a keyboard still valid especially for the price or you can find it. It has all of today's machines. Only some sounds will get, but the quality is there. Apart from the difficult issue of the many parameters without using a PC you will enjoy playing in styles that appeal to you, the PA1X be your "friends" on stage or elsewhere (probably more than Facebook friends, humor ... )
Attention PA1X having served too have problems with buttons and touch buttons. It is possible to change the cost
PAX series has evolved, I'm only 2. I have not tried 3 ... But it is the finance talking. Try it even PA2X, the value for money is very good on occasion, but it's unbeatable for PA1X ...
Music at all, Jean
