Usage: Studio miking acoustic guitar and lead vocals (fminin and male).
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about 2 years.
This is an excellent microphone but not easy to use for beginners.
It is demanding trs on 3 levels:
- The acoustics of the studio (and home studio is not always a. ..)
- The distance from the mouth of the singer (the singer must be trs discipline)
- The associated pramp (I use a personal UA 6176 Channel Strip and it's perfect!)
This is not the micro IDAL (also a no) but it's a great product.
Note his little brother (C214), which offers less possibility of Contents directivity in particular, but cheaper. For a home studio, may do it too.
