It is simply the cardioid version of the BH-1.
Cardioid condenser microphone.
Class A circuit
OVERALL OPINION
Micro mostly unknown in Europe (most people only judge by Neumann, of their celebrity, at the expense of quality) if you've heard the sound of the legendary Sony C800g microphone (used widely across the Atlantic: the microphone just Madonna and many others) and that you adore, A / B, JZ BH-2 has a very close C800g, very accurate with a nice top, it will lack just a little low to be perfect copy (a good preamp that adds harmonics in these frequencies can completely fill the gap).
A very good high-end microphone, at the cost of entry.
If you have a chance to try it, you will not be disappointed I'm sure (I preferred to U87).
