Kuassa announces the availability of the version 2 of its Kratos limiter/maximizer plug-in, which is now compatible with Pro Tools and Reason.
Kratos v2 is now available in VST, AU, AAX and Rack Extension plug-in formats for Mac OS X and Windows. The update also adds a new Adaptive mode, a dithering section with three operating modes, 4x oversampling, latency compensation as well as a new GUI, Kratos now is a virtual rack instead of a channel strip in v1.
The plug-in support sampling rates up to 96 kHz.
Kratos is available for $69 +VAT, v1 users can upgrade for $15 +VAT, except those who purchased the plug-in on and after March 1st, 2015, who can get it for free. Note that Kuassa has developed a user area, you can then log in to your account to download the upgrade.
It is also possible to download a trial version of this new Kratos 2 from www.kuassa.com.
