My guitar 2002.Toutes date characteristics are the site of Gibson and have already been cited. I Desert Burst finish and it's really beautiful! on the other hand is true that the nitro-cellulose lacquer and very fragile and brand than on a Fender, for example but the result is much higher than an aesthetical point of view!
UTILIZATION
Being accustomed to the neck Telecaster surprising because round and thick but quickly got used to it and it becomes very nice once you get used to having. It is true that access to acute and a little hard but hey it's typical of the Les Paul! It is heavy (again this is typical!) Etjou first sitting is a little hassle at the beginning but watch you play on Les Paul and so we know what to expect! It is part of the charm incorporate the guitar! By standing against no worries, but you have to be careful to position selector (especially in large rhythm sections!! Especially since as I said before I'm used to the Telecaster). It should also provide a wide strap to suffer less of the weight of the beautiful. As for the cons is the killing, not to get a good sound should be doing it on purpose or out of tune! (Provided that the height of the microphones is resolved ...) So yes this guitar is not the most ergonomic, but it compensates by its ca finishes falling, charisma and a typical sound especially unique!
SOUNDS
I see rock in a directory and double metal coils work wonders! It's bold, it's hot, it's great! And the blues better than that! Of course those who want a crystal clear typed Fender will look stupid but you know what you want! As against the output level of the microphone allows for very large distortion, the crunch to cry with happiness! As against the death metal hardcore trash is not his favorite (and again ...) but no need to make a pearl like the Les Paul for that! For my style it's true I love the large distortion in the bridge position but I hate to say the least of his sound would be a lie. Jen have her try a Fender hot rod deluxe, on Marshall and a Mesa-Boogie (this is the nirvana) and frankly this guitar prowess is everywhere! ITS a very versatile, so even if as it has been said, it does not cover all the sound palettes that can have on many other guitars. In a word the sound of this guitar is amazing! It's blindingly obvious! (Well, ears ...)
OVERALL OPINION
I have a 1 month and a half but my friends helped to attend a long time. As the Telecaster, I think his look is very charismatic! As I said, the sound is truly inimitable. (And personally I find it far outperforms the Studio, I also Isaiah but hey it is cheaper ...) The biggest problem is its price, as it is between 2200 and 2800 euros new. It's expensive but the price of a guitar legend! I do not regret that choice (and I am even more happy) now it's up to you ...
