If I understand the documentation that came with, they are cardioid, including static.

Delivered in a briefcase kind custom flight case with 2 Bonette anti-wind and two clips, two for all mics cymbals.

However, it lacks a microphone for the hihat to be truly comprehensive, it's too bad ... :-(((( And possibly also 2 pencils electrostatic microphones omnis for overheads, but I'm not sure it's advisable to use live because they are likely to take the risk then returns with feedback, at least possibly that the drummer uses a headphone for his return. OVERALL OPINION
