Hi all! I am looking to add some mics to my collection, and I wanted to ask if Octava microphones worth consideration?
They are on sale at the moment, and I am on the budget here.
Any suggestions?

From what I've heard, some are quite decent for their price range. I've used the MK012 and they sounded decent, but broke easily and had a higher noise floor than say the Rode NT5 or the Shure PG81. I know lots of people who swear by these mics, but I think microphones in the same price range by companies like AKG, Shure, Rode, etc are safer bets. Oktava stuff can be made to sound excellent with some modifications (see: oktavamod.com). My 2 cents.
