Hey everyone,

I am a 16 year old rapper. I want to build a mini-studio here at home for the sole purpose of recording rap vocals.
Right now all I got is a Behringer preamp with a MKII mic. Let's forget that I have anything and focus on what would be the best since I will be getting rid of those! I use Adobe Audition 1.5. I do my job quite well on that, so I don't plan on changing anything with that.

What could you recommend for me to use while sticking to a fair budget.
This is what is needed:

Soundcard/
Microphone/
Preamp/
Speakers/

Optional:

Controller/
Whatever you can get in mind.

Would help me alot if you could get around to give me some suggestions. I will definitely read it.
If your curious on what my rap sounds like, here are links to 2 songs:

Or check out my Myspace, if furthur interrested.

K, well im 16 2 i have a small home studio that sounds pretty good i use The Akg C12VR, Digidesign Digi 003 interface and Pro tools. it only costed me about 8g's and my sound quality is the best. but if thats too much money for you you could probably go lower remember positioning your mic in the right place can make a huge difference.
