Topic Looking for good overhead mics.
Hello Everyone!

I am looking for a couple of good quality overhead mics. I've seen two possiblies that look like they could work which are Audio Technica and CAD CM100. I was wondering the quality of these version, and about supplying phantom power. I have a 16 Channel Mackie board with built in phantom, it's not new by any means, but it functions good. I was wondering if my built in phantom would be enough to run these mics. or would I have to get a phantom boost?

I'm open for suggestions,

i suggest a pair of AKG C1000.

very versatile condenser mics, you can run them with two 9volt batteries if you phantom is not enough.
