Hi, I want to record some videos on youtube with my classical guitar, but the ones I've tried are EXTREMELY quiet as I'm just using a headset and placing it near the sound hole. Can someone recommend a good replacement, I'm not interested in recording professionally or anything and I don't have the money to buy lots of new hardware, I just need a mic which will pick up the sound a lot better. Thanks.

Hi,
Im not a pro by any means. but I have two cents so… and I have found that recording is a bit of a trap that you can get sucked into…
Before you spend a dime…
Check to make sure your input level on your computer is up all the way.
On a mic, the best advice I can give you is to go to a web site that sells mics…
You can view all the mics by price and/or by reviews.
But like I said it’s a trap… so you find a mic that you like and get it…
But you still have the same problem and now you need to upgrade your sound card…
Now your on your way to a studio
I use Musicians Friend.com to buy most of my gear.
