Thread Guitar mic for higher volume recording

Hi I just got a Presonus firepod and sm57 mic. With my guitar amp, a vintage Sunn model T, you have to turn it up loud, is there a good guitar mic for this? or any good mic for guitar recording?

EDIT: also, how far away should I put my mic for this higher volume level recording? and one more thing, when in cubase I convert my audio into OMF how can I play this with a program like Itunes?

I've got quite a few mics these days including a Royer R121 and find myself almost always going back to the 57. Actually, I usually like using 2 57s on the same speaker.
