Hey, I want to record intrumentals and vocals into my eMac (G4, OS 10.3). I tried using the iMic from Griffin to adapt an old Shure mic, but I cannot get it to record in stereo. Will a simple desktop USB mic record in stereo? If so, does anyone know about pros/cons to USB mic recording?

well, to record in stereo you need a stereo mic...

an old shure mic would be mono, but it depends o nthe mic... most mics are not stereo... i think your software that you record to needs to be set to record in stereo....
