hello,
I have just set up my own small home studio. The final part of this studio is the mic. I have difficulties choosing between the Behringer B1 and the M-audio Nova.
I probably will use the mic for vocals, overhead, acoustic guitar and/or miking guitar cabinets. A sort of allround mic.
Could you please help me make up my mind?

Between the 2, I'd go for the Nova but if you could save just a little bit more, try to aim for the Rode NT-1A.
The Behringers really aren't any good for anything other than vocals, okay for acoustic guitar. They stink as overheads though. I'm with Kit, time after time it seems, go for the Nova, but save up some more. Get one you won't have to replace in the next 6 months. I used to buy cheep studio equipment because I wanted as much as I could get. Then I learned to save the money and buy a good so you don't have to buy a better 6 months later.
