[NAMM] Control your music with Myo & Leviathan
Precision Music has released Leviathan, a Mac OS X application allowing to control music using the Myo gesture control armband.
Precision Music has launched a new platform called Leviathan, which allows musicians to control their music using gestures and motion with the help of the Myo armband. Basically, it turns the user's hand and arm into a MIDI controller, allowing DJs and artists to control FX while playing live or perform chords and melodies using customizable gestures - as well as take hands-free control of their music software in the studio.
Compatible with all DAWs and standalone music softwares, Precision Music's Leviathan is available for $49 from precisionmusic.technology.
It requires the use of Thalmic Labs' Myo connected armband, which features highly-sensitive motion detection through proprietary EMG muscle sensors. The Myo Gesture Control Armband is available separately from Leviathan for $199, and more details on this device can be found at Thalmic Labs' website.
