UTILIZATION

The handle is nice, but some time adaptation is necessary, however if you play on Gibson for example, it is short and quite narrow but still very nice once the grip done (an hour will suffice).

This guitar definitely sounds amazing! The mixing lipstick + body mansonite dug at the microphones is magic! I am a big fan of garage sounds and this guitar makes me literally enjoy the ears ... It is not very versatile cons (its very typical), it can still significantly expand the sonic palette by changing amps, but the signature still remains strong typed (this is also why we love him ).

We could compare the Danish pro telecaster an old dilapidated; twang it, it has grain, a unique and incomparable that recognizes the first hearing, both clear that crunch / distortion.
For me, Danelectro guitars are really an absolute must (because of the accessible price) ... I also have a 59, and these are my two favorites ... I, however, some very beefy models all makes / models (I think near me gently 20 guitars), but if I had to choose two, a Danelectro would be part of the lot, for sure!

Obviously, I'm a fan of garage rock 50's 60's, Tom Waits etc. ... So my advice remains what it is.
If you love stoner rock or guts to do as Steve Vai tapping, I do not think this guitar is made for you
although, you never know ...

I use it in minimal configuration, its image, that is most often a head petitee 5w (epi junior head) with just a tube screamer maxon OD808 and a little slap delay, or while on a vox ac15cc1: it's wonderful!

OVERALL OPINION

I use Danelectro past few years ... How do you explain ...
The imperfections of this guitar are his qualities. One could compare it to a digital movie and a great band 8; The band is super 8 cradingue but this one is my favorite!
Just as the band Super 8, The Danelectro guitar is a minimalist with a grain and a unique personality ... I want to say that the telecaster of the poor, with all it represents. When I play blues with a guitar at 2500 euros, I always tell myself that there is something wrong. The spirit of the blues is not there, neither in price nor the mark, or in the woods or playing comfort the spirit of rock either. I feel like an old fart white privileged Western brutalized by his conditioning and losing sight of the deep instincts that push him to play what he plays.
Not musically but in my head, it sounds wrong.
With Danelectro I feel more in tune with the music I play, this guitar really has a mind! ... it may seem silly but true.

I would do without hesitation that choice, I also believe in buying one soon (live in open) ...
