100-watt amplifier modeling, with a tube preamp (12AX7). It offers 11 types of amp sound crystal-clear to clear his big fat distortion. He spent 15 aisaiment (not 0.15) thanks to a 100 watt power limiter on the back of the amp.
He owns a guitar input: o), an output for an external speaker, a headphone jack and a system "send return" to insert your personal effects. That's all you can expect from an amp of this power. At you one need more?
-For the settings, this complicates ca. basically there are two parties:
- - 1: the "amp", with a selector of the modeled amp, comes next, a "gain," volume "," treble "," medium "," low ". It's 5 settings react differently depending the receiver chooses
- - 2: the "effect", with a selector for the 11 built-in effect, and three knob, also assigned differently according to their effects.
It performs its job and does it well. The power limiter is a real plus
UTILIZATION
The configuration-is it simple? Do you get a good sound easy?
yes, but ....
The setting is simple you get a very good sound quickly. but if you really want to refine the sound, keep in mind that the settings are different depending on the chosen modeling, certainly not a great difference, the button sets the medium medium, but sensitivities varrient.
the use of effect, for its part, more complicated. one button is used to set three parrametre (a combination of two buttons provides access to other functions of the potentiometer) we would have preferred three potentiometers.
I repeated, but this famous power selector is really great, have a big power amp and push it generated a riot without your neighbor .....; o)
SOUNDS
This amp can do everything (modeling requires) Personal I play blues, reggea, ska and big rock, it ensures all but just to be metal. I play it with a Rickenbacker (360), a Gibson Les Paul Custom and I made a (typed telecaster), he embellishes all.
I fiddled a lot of equalization and uses regularly for at least 6 models, might as well say that I exploited in every corner. I do not use purpose on the other hand to go a little reverb. They range from crystal clear sound with a fat, clear sound of a big distortion through the ultradynamique crunches, no problem. is the momentum of aillieur impresses with all the blows. the light attack string sound clear, silk and more aggressive crunch as the true all-tube amp. ca, and even with the limiter on 15w. Immagine a 15w amp with the response and the dynamics of a stack all lamps!
the best modeling, if you had to choose one it would be the vox AC30TB, but it's still an opinion PERSONAL.
OVERALL OPINION
You would have understood, I like that versatility and quality of modeling. Purists will always find a fault, does the series "Valvetronix" revolutionized the world of modeling. and obviously the power limiter does not limit the sound quality (on a pert little acute towards the end but the momentum remains intact). only negative, the effect settings, maybe I find it difficult because I do not serve me?!
If you are looking for a powerful amplifier are enough to make a small scene and discreet enough to repeat in your room, if you are looking for strength and versatility, you've found! and for a price! (for fan effect of all types prefer the 120w has a real effect section)
I do not regret this choice and has to keep it long.
