To commemorate the anniversary, Tech 21 is issuing a limited quantity with a copper anodized faceplate. The specifications of this Anniversary Edition are identical to the original PSA 1.1, with an all-analog signal path with digital recall, 49 factory presets of vintage and modern tube amp sounds for guitar and bass, and 77 user-definable locations.
The SansAmp PSA can be used for multiple applications and instruments, including horns, vocals and drums. A Universal Output Section enables the signal to be compatible with full range systems as well as guitar/bass speaker cabinets. You can record direct to tape, as well as warm up existing tracks in mixdowns. For live applications, it can be used as a pre-amp, direct box to P.A. system, and as an outboard processor.
The retail price has not been communicated. You’ll find more details about the original version on www.tech21nyc.com.
