Published on 01/26/11 at 13:47For how long have you been using it?
2 hours
Did you try many other models before getting this one?
No, but I have seen other work beyond comparison (Digidesign C24
What thing do you like most/least about it?
Most: the motorized faders, ease of use (although for the moment, the phase assignment "faders / knobs' with my VST is tedious), the small utility that displays BCFView information to screen
Minimum: The integrated display style alarm clock radio (which does good to me), the "pads" come unglued rubber (I have already lost one), plastic buttons, which are cheap "bed -clack "each time, the knobs that I was looking a little fragile
What is your opinion about the value for the price?
Definitely unbeatable
Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Sure. In this price range, it is a UFO.
I use FL Studio on 9 / 64 with Seven Windows 64bit operating systems. It works nickel. The preferred method of communication with the DAW is "Mackie Control" (for video tutorials on the net well explain the integration of the BCF2000 in FL that way)
Bought new 155 euros (because that model-finish "midnight blue" if found 125 euros in white!) Hard to be disappointed unless you are in bad faith.
However, I would not have been reluctant to purchase a more expensive but better finish in the range of 250-300 euros but in a less cheap box with knobs and buttons strongest most elegant in the vein of the Akai MPC example ( but I am a very naïve!)
