Pan Hard Left and Right on Pro Audio Control

I've been asking myself for a long while now, should I pan the signal from "from computer" 1 and 2 hard left and righ (those going and coming to the DAW) or keep em' in the center before joining them in stereo on the MOTU Pro Audio Control Mixer? What's the right way of doing it?
