Just finished the DVD for Cubase SX on Elephorm I turned naturally to these two DVDs DDIS mixing.
Unless you express your particulirement in the mix these DVDs are for you. I asked myself a lot of small questions, not knowing what concrtement qu'tait mixing itself.
It's a real gold mine (as he says t).

I recall the content:

Quote: Contents of Vol. I

* DEFINITIONS objectives of the mix
* How to make a good mix (in one sentence)
* The three dimensions
* Tips to deliver the master mix in the mastering studio
* More bits = better sound!
* Approach systmatique clarity and methods Working idalie for mixing
* Groups
* Compressing groups to SAVE the CPU and increase the reserve of processing power
* EQ groups for resources and SAVE CRER of lespace
* Group Management: What contrlent groups, and through what avenues?
* Prsentation the methods Working
* Résumé laws of the panorama
* Avoid problem dinterfrence phase
* Leffet mask
* Division frquences row and study of their main areas
* Mixing bass
* RULES basic lgalisation
* Custom settings common basic compressors and their use

The ingnieur exposes both the objectives of the mix: the view, the legalization and finally the reverb and / or delay. All this with examples prcis (even if the piece is a nameless soup ...).

Quote: Contents Vol. II

* Compressor: exercises
* Rverbration and time limit
* Native and DSP-rverbration
* Pr-time limit cratif
* EQ crative dune rverbration
* Stratgies dempilement
* Pr-fader or post-fader?
* How rverbrations? Planning depth
* Time limit against rverbration
* Time limit or in rverbration rverbration in time limit
* Supplment: use of Mute and Special FX
* Automation
* Treatment of solo instruments
* Off-line calculation dune rverbration convolution to simulate an environment
* Runs microphone
* Amliorer loops (doubling, adding gates, compression, rverbation)
* Exercise ddition loop
* EQ and compression of voice
* Specific aspects of the chorus

On the 2nd DVD it shows the reverb and delay. But the 7th chapter is crucial I think. He explains what the basic salaries of all The elements of the battery on the voice and others. was worth it!
Also see ingnieur working on plug-in is trs INTERESTED, I was offered the opportunity for Oxford!

I finally know what it's like the mix! I started the other three DVDs on the mastering, which made me look even more complete.

Quote: - How do you report qualitprix?

Excellent in that they are the only (I think) have done this kind of DVDs!

Quote: - With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...

Oh yes!
