Any free (or at least much cheaper) software alternatives to Kontakt that still sound great? Obviously I'd imagine there's a direct relationship between sound quality and price in most cases, but anything that would sound better than standard DAW sound banks to help me, as I do not yet have the knowledge nor budget to splurge on Kontakt :((

when I was learning more about how to manipulate and use strings, specifically, I got into SampleTank 3, but it comes with loads of other stuff as well.
