« quite apart from the switch EHX »
Published on 03/01/11 at 08:36see also in terms of features (always easier to not be the first to give his opinion ...)
anyway, EHX provides (for the price indicated) a power supply. Which is useless if it already has its multi-box power supply. I would rather they change the switch (see below) ...
UTILIZATION
3 buttons, it will, it is managed ... exit "dry" leaves me puzzled, but hey, do not want to use QLQ thing that exists is better than the reverse.
SOUND QUALITY
Ok, so the effects: very interesting, as has been said that this is a big deal, either to add a slight octave (more present in the lower than in the treble, I think) or to replace simply signal "dry" (no effect) to get all the sounds. As I use this pedal when there is no bass player, it's very tempting to let almost all the time. Its pleasant, colorful (it is not the digital) but really nice. It follows everything that plays, as others have said.
The acute, well, that's for sure, but it is only a little tinsel and toys. It seems particularly useful for (a, eh) use: Dry to medium, sub-half or 2 hours, treble at 2 o'clock as well. You end up with amazing sound of organ, some anecdotal, but it can serve. To "kind", necessarily. But it's funny.
OVERALL OPINION
It's been weeks since I qlqs tinker with, I tend to get attached, which is a good sign.
However, HOWEVER, I do not support switches from m. .. qu'EHX sticks to its effects. Make no mistake the point, this is not a plop in the amp that I'm complaining, but the PLOC in the ears and all around when you must push the mechanical part with the foot. It's been a hell of Barouf of CLAC, and less than playing in front of 10,000 people who whine all you can hear a plop in the amp. This is a "cheap" that bothers me tremendously. Just look at the pedals to understand that Jacques ON / OFF can be smart and silent (BOSS beside Jacques, what misery too, but still better qu'EHX). And given the price of this pedal you not tell me qu'EHX can not imagine anything else ...
I would love to replace yours. The switch, eh ...
short, good sound but cheap switch.
