« Waves Eddie Kramer Tape »
Published on 07/31/12 at 10:01Installation was simple. Simply follow the instructions of Waves. I used iLok, but the recent version (V9) of the Waves installer does away with the iLok in favor of a Licensing Center approach.

It will no longer work with iLok.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
No worries. Although still greedy for resources, it uses less than a reverb, Kramer tape can be used properly on multiple tracks without overloading the processor.
OVERALL OPINION
Where it burns brightest is on the master bus. 3D appears, the bass awakens, the highs get in line...

On bass, it kills. On vocals, the déessing is done very well.
On drums, phew! The kick tears through just like the snare.

For me, this plugin is part of the discoveries of the year.
