Everything has been said.
-1 For the equalization policy (did they do this for us to be forced to buy them both?).

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use (-1 also for the invisible boundary markers potentiometers).

SOUND QUALITY

Of very good stuff, I confirm.
Used with a Hot Rod, a U.S. Start and an Ibanez RG Prestige.

I have other pedals for distortion / overdrive pretty nice (TS9, Crunchbox, OCD, MXR Distortion +) with whom I have not yet directly compared, using complementary overruns excellent Line 6 M13.

I use it at this time upstream of M13 to boost my signal clean on channel 1 and to send the puree on channel 2. Tried several times again and in concert, it's almost the ultimate weapon with my current rig.

All sounds are very convincing, but I still have a clear preference for further saturation in which it excels (used to gain 2 / 3 with his typed rather "British", the bridge pickup and Ibanez in the Hot Rod just waiting to receive, it sends the timber severe, it rocks the mash, it goes into fat, it causes the prolapse, it is only by dint of typing as a logger for that we still hear the drummer ended with a dislocated shoulder and a calf cramp ;-).
Furious riffs, Larsen and whale songs insured (here, that way I toured all the cliches).

Also used as a preamp in studio again to attack directly the console (output "emulated output) with the Line 6 as a starter, it helps out too well, although it is far from rendering a true guitar amplifier (it is for it's also that I had purchased).

OVERALL OPINION

Used for 1 1 / 2 months or so.

To get the best, I'd have to use it at home too, but I do not have adequate gear (just a small Vox modeling that is his job to repeat at home without making too much noise but sounds not that great compared to what I have repeated with the Hot Rod when I play with the group). Used upstream of the Vox, it does not sound terrible, anyway.

Yes, I tried several other models before buying and Blackstar fairly complete my arsenal (see above).

I particularly appreciate the setting ISF, ease of use, design and versatility (even if they really screwed up with this EQ common to both channels).

Value for money ok compared to other brands of upscale OD (Fulltone, Xotic, and others).

I am very satisfied with my purchase (though God knows I'm picky).
