Value For Money : Excellent
Overdrive pedal, drive settings / tone (bass and treble pots on two concentric) / gain (volume), true bypass. Fully analog diode clipping. Guitar input and output, power supply 9v boss type, metal box. In short, from this point of view, an OD pedal pretty standard. I put only 7 because concentric pots.

UTILIZATION

Whoever needs a manual to address a need above all DO have a brain new, IMHO. You plug, you put all the pots at noon, you play, you affine according to your tastes. More simply, I see it. In practice, you really have to want to find a "bad" settings on this boiboite.

SOUND QUALITY

Tested with Vox Custom 24 / BPK Crawlers, a Vox Standard 25 / DiMarzio FS-1 and a custom Tele '62RI on a Blues Junior and a Peavey Classic 30. In all cases, this pedal is a marvel, and which is aptly named - the simplest set (all at noon, and then very slight adjustment for the guitar, amp and ears), it complies fully the combination of guitar and amp, with just a little more drive. Afterwards, you can also push far enough - either on the eq, drive and / or gain (and she has much in reserve), so there is necessarily less transparent! -)

This OD is so great that she managed to get my old TS-09 of 81 (which was my only pedal for years) my pedalboard - well, not long, the TS is returned since the arrival of telecaster, but still, it speaks volumes.

Well, if not a little breath of course (and unfortunately), a problem difficult to avoid the OD and distos (bin yes, before all that amplifies this stuff, so naturally it brings the breath), but not more than any OD .

OVERALL OPINION

I have for some months now, I bought it from thomann on reviews of both - so without even trying it before - and I do not regret my investment. In thirty years, I saw a bunch of OD and distos, and this one is really the best we can find - it is largely the road in front of a vintage TS-09, OCD, or ... a Cochrane Timmy. What is not very surprising since it is indeed an almost exact copy (two condo values to change, essentially) of Timmy (for those who doubt, look on freestompboxes.org - or go read Dano's explanations on this, they removed the template since Paul Cochrane came to hold them accountable).

So overall, excellent value for money. For cons, the next time I'll give me directly at Paul Cochrane.
