Overdrive / distortion analog true-bypass.
Two modes, vintage / modern
Volume, gain, tone (treble)
Operates 9 to 18V, I supplies 18V, for more dynamic.
UTILIZATION
Extremely simple, all settings sound. I use it with tone and gain at noon, the volume depends on the guitar and the situation, but rarely above 10, because the headroom is huge.
The pedal is designed to react like an old Marshall 18W JTM45 or molten amps I've ever owned, but already heard. Like most Fulltone products, we are in a spirit purist, vintage, which manages the guitarist's last volume of his guitar, plugged into a good amp white-hot. The sound of OCD is in this context.
SOUND QUALITY
This pedal is magical, expressive but transparent. So that some may find it too neutral. Yet played with a Squier 51 in a VS 100, two small devices, the musicianship is tremendous, and most importantly, this pedal can handle the volume of the guitar, its clear the big Rock.
Passing on a stratum, or a gibson, the color of the instrument is fully respected, and it is difficult to get his disappointing.
In Overd, Distortion, or a boost in already hot amp (my favorite), the quality is at the appointment.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had three months, and this is my main distortion. Really recommendable, if you find at a reasonable price ...
