Hello,
I bought this system a month ago to replace 4 FCR ART300A. I wanted to move from one system to a 4 satellites + satellite box.
I play in a band variety (wedding dances), with:
mikes song
brass
keyboards
accordion
battery
low
guitar
What I missed most of the FCR, the punch of the bass drum and bass rounder.
Hop, 15 days ago, the first evening with these speakers, correct balance, beginning of the game and then we are told "ho, it's too loud, turn down guys," what we do ... What a mistake .... The balance is found it completely wrong. Indeed, lowering the volume, bass remain very present, but the medium / high have completely been neutralized! Result, more voices, more scratches ... Basically a battoche and 2 keyboards, this is what you could hear before ...
Last Saturday night re-always with the HK, and there, terrible, powerful battery, voices that stand out far above all (and shure sm58 BETA58), low well-rounded and well presented, clear and clean a scratch.
So to summarize:
- Excellent system, but be careful because the medium / treble are very present in the medium / large volume, but quickly become weaklings low level
- Not too heavy to carry, handles damn well, exterior quality
- Highly efficient ventilation
- Sufficient power for rooms of 500 people
- Plus: breaking ground in case of hum
- Broad satellite broadcast, even putting himself on the side, the sound is clear, no "big hole" in the spectrum of listening
Finally, despite a difficult start, no regrets, the sound is there, as the power quality. I also tried a little DJ mode, forget the mp3, it's really too flat, give everything a good CD on this system is impressive.
