hi there, was after a good sound card to use with band in a box software , which has awe editor. the book says to use awe 32/ 64 sound blaster but they are not called that anymore, would an audigy2 creative sound blaster be ok? i heard the external type is best. many thanks troy

I'm using an external firewire prosonus firebox at the moment and its absolutely BRILLIANT.

It's cheap too!

a sounblaster is a really bad idea, they are made for gamers, NOT for recording.
