Hi all,

similar to another post i purchased and installed an echo indig io on a toshiba 5205 s703...it worked for about half an hour then computer crashed...now when i start the computer, if the card is in the pcmcia slot, window's hangs and won't finish booting *until i remove the card and it continues from where it stopped and finishes booting up...if i let the laptop boot up and then put the card it, my keyboard and mouse become completely non-responsive. i've emailed echo-support and am waiting for a response but hoped you may be able to help...the echo's drivers and machine drivers are all current.

thanx!

hello,
it seems too me that there is a compatibility problem.
Is the M.board's chipset compatible with you soundc.?
Most of the time this is the usual prob.
Do you work with Xp?
if so , make sure it's istalled as "standard pc" and not as acpi.
The card needs to have its own IRQ otherwise probs. guaranteed.
