Molten MIDI is designed to provide a compact, rugged, and simple way to control a MIDI device without datawheels, little screens, etc., and for products like Digitech's Whammy 4 that can't save presets.
It has a 10-position rotary switch that is oriented like a clock, so even on a dark stage it’s easy to figure out what setting you’re using.
Inside Molten MIDI sits an 8-pin microcontroller in a socket.
Power
Molten MIDI uses a typical 9 volt, 2.1 mm, tip negative, DC power supply. Standard 5-pin MIDI cable and power supply are not included.
Manufacturing
Molten MIDI is hand-built and includes a Hammond aluminum powder-coated enclosure, plasma laser engraving, an externally mounted steel MIDI jack, a heavy-duty pushbutton switch, and a heavy-duty rotary control.
Pricing & Availability
$125 MSPR.
Molten MIDI is available at MoltenVoltage.com.
