Simple and effective
Published on 01/09/11 at 03:50 (This content has been automatically translated from French)I use it for a few days to switch my fender and my marshall.
In fact, it is a major component of my sound.
What I mean by clean the fender, in crunch blues, the marshall and his hard, the fender and marshall crunch boosted wholesale for solos and heavy.
Aby is the box that allows me to make these blends.
There is NO poc. It is simple and efficient, robust, transparent, it does not consume anything unless you want to operate the LEDs.
I love this pedal tt ds. With experience, I would do this choice.
I put 9 for its price: 70 euros. A bit expensive for something so simple.
On the other hand, the aby box cheapest on the market are not very transparent as it seems.

The most practical application of the A/B/C box is for use with electric guitar and sending one guitar to three different amps, or vice versa if you want to send three guitars to a single amp. The box has got 1/4" connections for in/out, which is your main connection, and then three more connections for your A, B, and C channels. Each channel has it's own switch on the one that I've used, but there are a few different versions as the one pictured above isn't the same as the one I've used, which is blue and not black. The only real difference that I can see is that on the one I've used, which is the newer one, it's got individual switches for each channel while the older one only has two. It definitley seems like the newer one with it's own individual switches is easier to use, but I'm sure it costs a bit more as well since it's newer even if you were to compared used prices. The Morley A/B/C Box has practical use both in the studio and on the stage, but is probably most useful for live shows where you have multiple guitars or amps. There are a lot of different A/B boxes out there, but there are definitely less A/B/C boxes available, at least in what I have seen. I can't say that I've ever used another A/B/C box, although I've used a bunch of other A/B boxes. It really just depends on how many channels you need, but if you think you need an extra channel I'd definitely recommend keeping the Morley A/B/C Box in mind as it is well built and will definitely do the job for anyone who needs something like this...See less00

-This is a pedal that splits your signal. There are two buttons that switch between the two paths or has the path go through both paths (A AND B, A or B)
There are two led lights ran by batteries (that last forever) that shows the path your signal is taking and the path is changed back and forth by pressing the two different buttons.
- For how long have you been using it?
I have used this ABY pedal for over a year now, and it has never let me down
- What thing do you like most/least about it?

I have used this ABY pedal for over a year now, and it has never let me down
- What thing do you like most/least about it?
Basically this ABY pedal allows for a split between two amps, I use the line6 dl4 to loop myself and then send that loop to one amp as then with the ease of the ABY pedal I can move back to my main amp and play along with my loop without any noise interference.
I like how easy it is to go from one amp to another with this pedal.
- Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I also use a keeley true bypass (which can essentially do the same thing as the ABY pedal) and Both work great, I would say the only real difference is size and the ABY pedal can split your signal to two different amps at the same time, or just one Thus the A AND B function or the A or B function as seen on the picture.
- What is your opinion about the value for the price?
If you are looking for this type of splitter, this is top of the line
If you want more of an effects looper go with the Keeley True Bypass
- Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
Yes, I am surprised I went as long as I did without this pedal.See less00
