m-audio mobile preamp with mic in 1 usb slot

keyboard: yamaha psr 292
connected via
m-audio midisport uno 1/1 device
to usb for
reason.30 in 2nd usb slot

sounds are triggered when i hit notes, but it sounds as if keys are "stuck" or i hear an echoing pulse
someone says this is a latency problem (if that), but im not sure how to change it,
ive tried un-quantizing notes, but still the same problem..any suggestions anyone?
