Well ... I will not go back on CHARACTERISTICS they st prcises enough elsewhere.
UTILIZATION
I m'tonne comments dcrivant Pocketpod the cot as relatively complex configuration. The buttons are fully functional for me and not particulirement twisted. At worst, we must press 1 for Access in sub rglages by the wheels.
I possdais a multi Zoom (pdalier) much more twisted than ca rglages cot.
CHAC in "banks" is quite simple (dfile). The storage location for rglages characters is more than enough. Presets the name of bands more or less known are pre-installed.
Ngligeable advantage: the Pocketpod comes with a USB cable that can connect to the PC and, via the use of a soft tlchargeable Line6 on the site, to edit the existing presets or CRER own.
Even better: thousands of presets are also tlchargeables on the site (community site).
Personally, I could easily rcuprer patches corresponding to the pieces on which I fought for a long time to get the sound closest to the artist.
The manual, in french, but is short enough for the apprhender bte.
SOUND QUALITY
As always on such multi, there are effects that we wonder who uses them ... There are still a steal effect exploitable plenty to bring happiness to the majority of guitarists.
I play Les Paul and I love Delays or offered by the Pocketpod Overdrives. The Crunch are also excellent. The Fuzz and Wah Wah is a bit more dlicats handle.
OVERALL OPINION
I use the Pocketpod for 6 months now. It comes from my complment see the effects the unit replaces compltement depending on the mood.
on the other hand, use scnique must be somewhat dlicate. Indeed, we must take up the red beans to switch effects so if you have little time to do it (in a song or between two titles), ca may be hot ...
The thing I love about this device is the possibility to plug in my iPod from the mp3 (audio standard) of Pocketpod. Feedback, I can play using the song in the bottom rear of the amp comes out the same time as my guitar.
Nice also, the possibility for the headphone rpeter config: Pocketpod + mp3 player + headphones + guitar. No need to amp!! (And you can carry around anywhere wireless leg, even at the campsite!).
Ngatif point, however: the bte dvor cells shovel .... 3 hours of battery life (and since there's no on / off, if you forget to unplug the guitar, the food you Pod batteries speeds .. Pfiou ....). To be ordered so the transformer (15) that goes with that is not provided original.
If I had the choice again ????? Now!! Especially considering the price ....
To summarize: a small device that will make the closet a lot of truly multi-type effects pdalier!
