Mackie launched the TH-15A 2-Way Powered Loudspeaker, which delivers 400 Watts of system power in a rugged design weighing in at 36 pounds (16.3kg).
The TH-15A incorporates an active crossover and driver time and phase alignment for optimized system performance, Mackie says.
It features a 15" high-precision woofer and 1" compression driver. A user-adjustable 3-band EQ with a sweepable mid lets the user flexibly EQ the system for the application at hand.
This is designed to be a feature for smaller setups that may not have a ton of outboard gear. The rugged cabinet is trapezoidal, allowing for use as a monitor wedge and the lightweight design makes pole-mounting effortless, Mackie assures.
Pricing & Availability
Mackie TH-15A will be available globally in September 2009. The TH-15A will have a U.S. MSRP of $469.99.
