I have a Roland VS-1680, and I want to record something outside, in woods. What kind of electricity providing machine should I have?
Does anybody here have some experience in field recording with digital workstation, not with DATs or MDs...?
Thanks, LP

first off youd batter make sure you have good weather, or that your machine is well protected from rain or snow (in a tent maybe)...
i cannot find the specs. on what kind of power the workstation uses, but im sure you could goto your local hardware store and find a portable power box like this below
that would supply up to 12v DC power i think for 8 hours...youd better ask someone at a hardware store that knows what they are talking about to be sure it has enough power for your workstation....
