Sujet de la discussion How To set up a Rack for home recording and Church Band
Hi I am after help regarding how do all the units in a rack connect together
I want a unit consisting of at least the folowing
Stereo Reference Amp, compressor/limmiter, Mic preamp, Pod X3 pro,
multiband EQ.
I am totally lost as to how the ins and out connect, and in which order to chain them, Ideally I would also like to connect the final stereo out, to a fire wire mixer linked to a DAW as well.
any advice is gratfully apreciated,
Cheers Mike

The usual signal route for a live setup is mic (or guitar) > mic pre (or pod) > comp > eq > out (to the amp or the recording gear).

Comp is often wired before EQ to avoid that EQ affect the compressor threshold detection (more likely to happen if the EQ is used to boost frequencies).
