I've often thought of mixing as putting together a puzzle. Not every piece is pretty or seems to be a big deal (ie a puzzle piece that's nothing but blue sky or green grass), but together, each piece connects the whole body of work and gives its identity.

I'm very much looking forward to the rest of the series, if it's anything like the Mastering from Home series. Cheers!
