Audio connectors, midi, usb
great effects section including 1 external oscillator synth + 1 (D-beam) handy to hand gestures (this also functions as a filter)
sequencer as 4 songs, 8 (16 with the compact flash card) banks, 140 patterns (length of 32 passes, not much)
opportunity to make a midi controller via USB (with no software or P606)
UTILIZATION
The manual is clear but a little too short. some functions you really look for them. to access to banks is not practical because in toutjour select one you do not know what there is in it is better to go through func + delete and see pad by pad.
ROLL has the will, but beware of the sequencer (see after). The metronome is useful Designed as it can be applied in the "on" (lit toutjours) and you can sample or resample "A Tempo". but ... (see after)
The Designed AutoChop is a bit bizzarre: you can not decide how many cups have the sample, the sp-606, which decided in function of the volume of voids in the sample, so no problem on a drum loop but some problem with the sound sample on "continuous" (synth twisted, distorted guitars etc etc)
SOUNDS
Marquesa but the sounds are a little weak with the aid of a there is a work of mastering a bit to push the volume. There are several effects and it has the strong point of this machine: we can apply 2 at a time and you just choose which pad has very easy to apply. some effects seem copying each other, but generalmente okay. VLOC the pads I find good suffice. it can also be re establish.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 20 days. I already utlise the sp-303 and SP-404. some functions are alike a little.

some times the sequencer (and machine) is bad. playing with 2 effects and ROLL registered, the movement of a pattern to another are displayed very late on ecrain (and even the pattern of effects). by the metronome time are not accurate. the "microscope editing," apparently useful is little to edit patterns. Increasingly, differemnt of sp or sp-303-404, we can not erase that movement of the pad was a time when we enegistre pettern. for what concerns the ROLL must still say that Parameter justque 1 / 48 but if we quantize a record with a 1 / 16 has changed with (!). So ok for a live, but if you want example d'n'b record pattern (or other) super triturated has wrong.
In conclusion, I have not used with the computer, this machine may be operated with a better pc.
I buy really cheap but nikel already used, so ok.
but I am deu by this product. I really believe that a possible alternative to the mpc 1000, but no. so I think I would do not choose to buy it.
I think I directed rather towards the sp-505 is a little better, sounds better and better PUBLISHED. agree there is not sensitive pads, but there have a funtion "accent" that allows you to commemme conturner this problem and in any case with a surface or other style padkontol solved EST (ROLL included). not in sauvatage. wav effects and only 1 at a time? we can not have everything ...
