Main feature: a machine to do everything. you are not in the presence of a groove box, but a sampler / sequencer rather powerful.

UTILIZATION

Like any self-respecting big machine, it will give a lot of trouble to the neophyte. In this regard the book is very well done (about a hundred pages to understand what samples, sequencing and editing programs) The manual is too limited in terms of computer part and MIDI (there is almost nothing)

SOUNDS

The grain of the 4k is really excellent, always biensur metal side of digital, however, an assortment of filters allows evil really overcome this slight defect. The effects section asks evolve (fifty only) but the 4 processors are very useful! The after touch has helped the reputation of the 4k, and the velocity is adjustable.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this machine for 5 years. Without separate outputs, with no PC connection. Now I have decided to expand my lab tool by connecting to my computer ... time will tell! The value for money can not be defined, the MPC with no competitor in the market. In any case it is very very expensive! but it's worth it to saicner. I do not know anyone who is disappointed with this machine, compact, versatile, which gives a good feeling to the musician.
