Hi
I have an electric bass guitar. I have a Creative X-FI XTREME MUSIC which has a MIDI input, could I get an input cable to plug into my MIDI input on the sound card and that would have a connection for the standard bass guitar lead so I could record straight onto a program like Cubase SX 4 with my bass.

On my sound card manuel it has a guitar going into a mixer of some sort then into my digital input.
